Walkthrough, hints etc?

I need some help for the Servant Seal.

I "acquired" The necklace and key from Jasper, but can not find anyplace to use it. Checked all around town and back at the caretakers house. and of course Jasper doesn't come to the pub anymore. Could use a push in the right direction. Sorcerer class, by the way.

Have you tried looking at the key in your inventory?  Its description might lead you to the location of the piece.

I know where the slaver is, just from randomly clicking around, but is there a way I should have been clued in on the location?

There are a few people in Tyr that talk about him, most notably the guy inside the Mills & Sons Shipping Company store who you can ask all about him.  The guy with the water pitcher on the apartment screen will talk about him, as will one of the characters at the Salty Dog (though this guy talks a bit more generally about the slave trading problem.)

The Killington crypt bending light puzzle?  I'm no Indiana Jones so it's really confounding me...

Read the plaques below each statue--they should give you clues as to the correct combination.


Start with the statue that the light is first directed at--each clue should mention the weapon the beam is coming from and the weapon the beam needs to aim at.

Pond Scum?  I know WHERE to get it, but using what vessel?  Already tried a pint glass from the bar.  This is so that the Apothecary can make potions.

In the right place, you should be able to just pick it up with the hand icon.

It should be the hand icon on the fountain water, I believe.  You might try an empty flask though.  I could be remembering wrong.  Flasks can be bought from Jerrod.

Hooray! I beat it. Never did figure out how to get rid of the hunters, they vexed me throughout the whole game...

If you're a rogue, the only solution to getting rid of them is to go buy them some whores in Tyr.  The whores will be outside the Red Door at night.  When you walk onto the hunter screen, they'll be talking about how they need some relaxation and female attention.    The other two classes have other options for dealing with them though.

That's odd, they never showed up outside there in all my playthrough otherwise I'm sure I would have figured that out

I meant the whores will be outside the Red Door, not the hunters themselves.  Their whole problem is they don't have time to go down there.    You have to have heard the hunters talking about them, and then you just need to use your purse on "Big Red"--the red head outside the Red Door at night in Tyr.


It's an optional puzzle for rogues though--you're meant to be able to get past them using the thief tunnels, too.  So your way was still totally legitimate.

Ohhh, I got you now. Just did it from an old save. Damn I should have figured that out.

I finished the game, but I never encountered a wolf.  I expected to see one eventually because Jerrod mentions buying wolf fur.  Did I just miss them, or do they only appear for a particular class.  I played as a Sorcerer.  Strangely, he also says that the venom comes from snakes instead of spiders, so I'm not inclined to believe him.

I'm feeling really slow right now.  I'm the magic user and I can not figure out this Bush problem. I know I need to go past it (ie the avatar knows) When I first try I get the message I can't get by it (from walking) I am not sure where to go from here.   I think I talked to everyone about the moonshiner.  I am lost.
