It would probably pass with a teen rating, but there are definitely some suggestive elements, some harsh language, and a few rare instances of pixelated gore--all done with the standard pixel art sprites, so you really have to use your imagination a bit.
Basically, it has about the same level of violence and gore as the VGA Space Quest games did, in terms of deaths and such. Maybe one notch above that, since we are talking a swords & sorcery instead of ray guns and vaporizations.
