Ah, well you might want to look some more in Tyr.  There are some areas there that it's easy to overlook the first time there as they're kinda-somewhat hidden in the background.

I'm still wearing the necklace. I checked in Tyr and spoke with everyone I did find my way to the grasslands via the aqua ducts but that's it.

Just knock Japsworth around a bit.  No need to give him anything.  Depending on your class, it might be possible to scare the shit out of him, too.


As for the "fertile lands" piece.  You need to go underground in a specific area.  This one is kind of a classic trope from old Sierra games.
