Title: forum footer longer (use of different services?)

somthings different about the board cant quite put my finger on it and im curious

Nothing has been modified to the main forum footer. The only thing I can think of is the bottom of each post when you 'like' it (which I just did to your post). I changed the styles a bit so it's more noticeable. Other then that could you care to elaborate on what you mean?

We do have the addition of banners at the top, for gog and Kickstart ventures, which makes the whole screen a bit taller as a result, perhaps it's that?
