This was fun.
The voices sounded kinda off in the SW of town near the river.
I liked all the new areas, they were very well-designed. It felt kinda empty though, not much to do or people to interact with.
I enjoyed fighting the random pig-thingey guy.
My biggest dissapointment was that the demo ends at the exact same place the other one did.
I was hoping to finally get to do some thieving, magicking and briganding.
One thing I would recommend is adding a point system. The reason adventure games had them (and gave them pleasant jingles) was because of the "casino effect". (psychological) It's just kind of fun and gives you an idea that you're on the right track.
It also adds replayability in people wondering "how do I get the maximum score" if they finish with like 480 of 500 points.
The game also has the same "unwinnable bug" if you fail to get the fish oil before nightfall comes and want to be a thief. (I got the FO beforehand, not sure if the game has it so you can only go with the thieves if you get that oil)
Also, I think it'd help if the game gave little hints when you died in certain areas on what to do, I know adventure games did that a lot as a kind of clue to the puzzle to solve.
Finally, it seems kind of odd that the perfume merchant doesn't act disturbed in the slightest when you pull out a sword and stab the guy's head on a pike open. I don't know what medieval "corpse treatment etiquitte" would be for criminals, but it seems odd.
