The portraits look awesome of course, as always!  I feel like I'm looking into the eyes of a real person when I see Rynn's face.  He looks so warm and kind-hearted.

Aw thanks! ;)

Will this be the first full length game that isn't a remake released by kickstarter project?

Pandora: Purge of Pride came out not too long ago. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams was one of the earliest I know of to release, and I think that's different enough from the original Mario clone-ish game to count as a non-remake, but it was almost complete when they ran the Kickstarter and just needed the funds to get over the last hurdle.

Just saw Lamb's sketch video. Love that he pops up that picture from Raiders for reference about midway through.

If you've even spoken with Lamb at length, at least ONE Indiana Jones reference will ALWAYS keep up.  It's Lambs Law.

As time increases, the likelihood of a reference to Indiana Jones increases.

Didn't POS finish Cognition?  That was funded by kickstarter.

Yeah, exactly!  That was early - that was even before Double Fine - and they delivered!

True - but they are about to release their last episode, bringing the game to a close.

There have been a few Kickstarted games that have been released.  Resonance, FTL, and Cogntion (all of which were before I joined the site but have picked up since) have been released as well as Larry.

Great thanks for the list! And yip Phoenix have done very very well with Cognition, while also working on Moebius, pretty amazing really!

Completely unrelated but I would love to know what LSL reloaded sales figures have been like. It is clear the genre won't keep afloat on Kickstarters that rely on super-fans paying big bucks for premium rewards.

I'm only at liberty to say that the sales for Larry have been good.

Yeah, the unofficial word is that LSL has sold hundreds of thousands of copies - which bodes well, I think, for adventure gamers.  Even though it was a well known IP, it's sales help everyone out there trying to make adventure games.

Just saw Lamb's sketch video. Love that he pops up that picture from Raiders for reference about midway through.

Heh...yeah, in the full narrated version of that sketch video, I explained that I had that image from Raiders in my mind as a conceptual reference.  There's not really anything in the final version of the screen that is directly lifted from it, but I liked the idea of the rocky grotto with a central altar, and that basically served as the general inspiration for the screen.  :)
Lambonius...Rarely has our moderating team encountered a forumite as consistently unpleasant as you, and you've burned through far more chances than you deserved. A person really has to try hard to be so obnoxious that they're banned from AG, but you've managed it and then some.

Oh for sure, I had thought that before you pulled it up and then realized who I was watching.

Heh, Lamb and his Indy references never get old.

If ever there were films to reference cool visuals though, it's definitely an Indy film no doubt. Cheers sir.
