Title: Secret rooms past and present
Post by: nameless on February 25, 2015, 08:00:43 PM
Have long since played all three characters and found their secret rooms. I found the best way to do this, with help from a couple of pro's, is to think backwards if that makes any sense.

Found out that the Rogue can often use his map inside of Tyr during the night, while the Sorcerer and Brigand cannot.

>

Days later;
I've often wondered about a game quest possibly overlooked. Maybe I'm thinking about the wrong game. I thought the Brigand had a job to escort some dignitary. It might not be QFI. can anyone verify this?

Yes. The brigand can undertake an escort quest (given by Kurdt in Act 2) to escort Big D. Although Big D (the real one!) would probably laugh at being called a dignitary. :)

When playing as a Rogue, there was a guy in the hideout who was off to hunt for some Smeat after talking to him, before I had found some, and the character is never seen again.

I wonder if waiting till act 3 before talking to that character, when I had some Smeat, is that a mini quest where the smeat could be given to that new character?

I don't believe so.  I tried to give him the Smeat™ in the Rogue's Den, but he doesn't take it.

Smeat™, of course, is a "super potion"-type of health restorer...  Feed it to Roehm before a big fight (or ANY fight), and watch his health stats climb!

May I have a hint? As to why I could open the others in that room but not the main chest? Can it perhaps only be done in act 2 or with something you get later. Am I free to sell the holy symbol, or dose it relate to that or something about that patrol on top of berracks and hiding bhind statue, a special way to click mayhap?

*Listen to your freind roeadventue32 , look into my eyes, remember your freind roeadventue32, I broke you out of rayfords dugeon, and we have to open that chest! We will rostore volksvile and get all the smeat we can eat. Give your freind a hint*

*You think its nice to help such a nice man*
