Title: technical difficulties
Post by: Myrddin Starfari on March 17, 2013, 07:21:12 PM: I keep getting a this has timed out message when I click to post. its happened four times today.

Your request timed out. Please retry the request.

I'm typing then posting and the message is coming up in seconds, not long to time out if you ask me. I can mostly fix the problem by hitting the back button and trying again, but that doesn't always work either.

Post by: Collector on March 18, 2013, 11:16:26 AM: I suspect that there is a hacker doing a port scan. This is exactly the way my site behaved. If you go into your cPanel, you will probably see CPU usage at 30%+. The only thing that stopped these periodic attacks was to block all Chinese IP blocks.
