Quest for Infamy / power outage now game wont start up

I lost power midgame and now Im getting an error message

in "System.asc" line 597
from "GlobalScript.asc" line 278

i cant figure out how to open the game

I was in act 1 in Volksville right after talking to Kayaana at the base of the temple
