I only saw the Kickstarter today (better late than never) through a Hero-U link and was worried that I was too late to get into the action. I'm glad to see that it wasn't cancelled. Looking forward to playing it!

Oh yeah, definitely not cancelled - we had a successful Kickstarter, and we've been working very hard ever since.  Got your pledge - glad to have you on board!

With a $200 pledge, will it include the signed artwork?  Also....What is a sprite? (explain this to me as though I were a child) Thank You.

A sprite is a 2-dimensional animated character (or object, environmental detail, etc.) in a video game.  It is exactly the same as cartoon cell animation.  A sprite is like a cartoon character animated with cells (frames) and then placed over a separately painted background scene.  All the animations in our game are made with sprites laid on top of separately painted backgrounds.

In addition to what Lamb said - this is what the sprites look like in our game - they are the characters that inhabit the land!  At the $200 Tier, you'd get a character based on you - and you can tell us what you want your outfit to look like?  Want to be a Jester?  A woodsman?  A knight?  A rich business person?  We'll do it up for you.

And, yes, you can get the signed artwork if you're so inclined in that Tier.

Can't remember if this has already been asked (and sorry if so), but are any of us backer sprites gonna be in the upcoming Demo 2.0 or not until the final game?

The backer sprites will be in the full game - however, when completed, if the backer so wishes, I can share the Sprite with them!
