I played chapter 1 when it was released and thought it was pretty good. I played it with my then 6 year old, we both enjoyed it and he played it through about four or five times. We got chapter 2 as soon as it came out and I was really unimpressed and we never bothered to finish it. He has been asking me to play Kings Quest again (yes!!!) so I suggested he start with episode 1 again. It was watching and helping him play through it again over 12 months later that I realised this chapter is a classic. He enjoyed replaying it just like we all did with the classics.
Has anyone played through all the chapters? Is it worth suffering through chapter 2 to and playing the rest?

imo no its not..
the art is nice, the rest all sucks
someone also made guides,
not even sure the last 2 eps are even out yet...
but i stopped at ep 2, was soo mind numbing and boring.

Chapter 1 is definitely the best of them. The other chapters have their moments but they're not as good.

I am assuming the series has been a financial flop given that it has already feature in two humble bundles? Anyone have any inside word on sales?

Yeah, it did not meet Activision's hopes for the product, that's for sure. I would not expect another game from them.
