That's odd, Kaldire, because I use win 7 64 bit, it's always on aero and I play everything windowed.  I've never seen a glitch like this before.  Not that that means it can't be the cause, but it's not the sole cause at any rate or it would be happening to me all the time.

As for the topic of the language, we did discuss and review all the lines in the game, being a team of mixed genders and backgrounds, and tried to make sure we weren't being overly offensive while at the same time not stripping all the comedy/quirkiness out of it to be PC.  Always a bit of a delicate balance, and with different people being sensitive to different things, probably impossible to get it 100% right for everyone.  Hopefully any lines that do rub people up the wrong way are few and far between!

Ok, for your save file location:

In the Finder window, it'll be under Places/Documents/My Saved Games/Quest for Infamy

And you can email it to: info@infamous-quests

Apparently the issue is caused by giving the cone to the treant on the right, instead of the left.  Bt can get a fixed save file back over to you that should sort it out.

Do you actually have any reason to make a deal with him?  If not I'd suggest you go explore and investigate elsewhere and come back later.

I've yet to look up any hints for the game but I have one question.   I'm trying to smoke out the wasps and I have something dry but I can't find any moss.  Is moss what I'm looking for or do I need something else that is damp?   I don't want the solution, just a hint.  Thanks.

Yes, you can use moss, or alternatively you could buy something else that makes a lot of smoke

I'm still wearing the necklace. I checked in Tyr and spoke with everyone I did find my way to the grasslands via the aqua ducts but that's it.

From the list of places you told us, you've already been to the right place for the piece, but as I said, you need to walk right up to it with the necklace on for it to register.  I think that might be your problem.  I'm avoiding saying which one because you just want hints, but come back if you're totally stuck and need me to just tell you

Act three magic user, and I have thus far been unable to get the pond scum. I have tried the hand icon, and the flasks.

Also a bug, in the invontury using the flint, on the cigars causes the game to get stuck in the skull icon for me.

Do you mean the old water for spell ingredients?  Where are you trying to collect it from?

And thank you for noting the bug also, I believe someone else has reported this one too and the programmers are looking into it.  It's not necessary to complete the game though, so if you have an earlier save you can just avoid that.
