It's not just here mate, a lot of forums are dead now. Social media has crushed them. I think there's probably about 4 "regular" posters here.

I'm still here! ;D
You're one of the four! The mighty four!
It's not just here mate, a lot of forums are dead now. Social media has crushed them. Not accessible to anyone: while I use Facebook "passively" (= read entries), I don't have an account. On purpose: I just hate when it is perceived as almost obligatory, as if only a sociopath (yes, I have seen this kind of "reasoning") could have no account.
After we release Roehm to Ruin, I can turn my focus back to Order of the Thorne: Fortress of Fire and finish that game up. Still got a lot of story left to tell.Does it mean that this one is already partially done as well? Because actually, I found the first game really nice. At first I had the impression that it's going to be boring, particularly in terms of graphics - I really think you should add more diverse screenshots on the game's page. But in fact it was much better than I had expected at first, so I guess I will buy "Fortress of Fire" when it's released.

It's not a personal choice or business decision to move to social media, it's just that's where the majority of our audience is now, so we had to move as well. Personally I much prefer forums such as these, but I'm unfortunately in the minority.Oh, and by the way - I've forgotten: in case of your Facebook profile I can't even read it. Anytime I access it from Infamous Quests' website, a message appears that I have to log in. Which I obviously cannot do... I can read lots of Facebook profiles, which don't request logging in for just viewing the posts and comments, they would only request logging in if I, for example, tried to send a comment myself. And your profile, unfortunately, requests logging in right at the start...

It's nice to see that there are people excited about Roehm to Ruin - though, honestly, it makes me a little nervous. RtR is a much smaller game than QFI was. I really like it, and it's fun - it's a great little chapter in the QFI story - but I don't think we'd ever be able to make a game as large as QFI again. That was just a crazy time - we all had high hopes and lots of ambition. Our scope has been tempered for sure... I was going through the gigabytes of raw files for QFI, not only the finished assets, but the sketches, ideas, unused stuff... that was a huge production. I do hope you'll enjoy Roehm to Ruin, though.

Goatmeal - I hate to say it, but there's no classing in R2R. It's a prequel, he can't class up here then forget it in 6 weeks time when he gets to Volksville! What we've done is a number of ways to deal with most situations which are our three classes orientated. As an example, early on in the game there's a thief you have to deal with, and there's a brigand approach, a thief approach, a coward approach, and a "don't give a stuff" approach. There's a number of those type of situations. It's a more melded approach to the classes.
20-40 minutes is a very big exaggeration. It's more like a few hours. Like all adventure games, you could smash it out quite quickly if you knew exactly what to do and the optimum path. I can knock over the early KQ games (3 excepted because of timers) in a pretty short amount of time. But there's certainly more than 20 minutes worth of content in R2R.

I hope it works. I've been hoping for QfI2 because the first part has quite an open ending.
( ATTENTION: MAJOR QFI2 SPOILERS -- DON'T READ!!! )
Hey Team Bt and Klytos, or anyone who knows? How many posts do I need to get to Mastermind instead of Senior Villain????I would guess 500 given Goatmeal is Mastermind.
May I ask how is the work on this game going?
