just saved the game after getting to the graveyard as a thief for the first time, quit then when I restart the game there's no save games anywhere to restore.

edit
saves seem to be working now, just not the first time I played.

Very odd.  Glad it seems to be working now.  On Windows machines, saves should by default be located in Users/Saved Games/Quest for Infamy.  You can also do a search for files with the extension .ags.

I've noticed this sort of bug before, when you first play a game you can save and use the saves but when you leave the program they're not there anymore.  Usually works fine after that though.
