technical difficulties

I keep getting a this has timed out message when I click to post. its happened four times today.

Your request timed out. Please retry the request.

I'm typing then posting and the message is coming up in seconds, not long to time out if you ask me.  I can mostly fix the problem by hitting the back button and trying again, but that doesn't always work either.

Yeah, I've had problems on the site today.  Sometimes, it gets temperamental.

I suspect that there is a hacker doing a port scan. This is exactly the way my site behaved. If you go into your cPanel, you will probably see CPU usage at 30%+. The only thing that stopped these periodic attacks was to block all Chinese IP blocks.

I had problems all weekend I just thought is was my network are we under a   load for some reason I would investigate  .
