These Russian spambots have really gotten out of hand. I ended up having to block nearly the entire blocks of Russian IP addresses just to stem the tide.

I need to be careful blocking several Russian IP's as two of our team members are from Russia and they do a damn good job. But yeah we've had 100 members join in one day and I had to remove them all from the forums and crank up the registration process.

Ofcourse, I didn't mean that every russian IP is a spambot. It's just that with these russian spambots' recent uprising in various forums, it felt like a fitting <joke>.

A very lame attempt to get back at the world in general. Speaking of sanctions, during the cold war (long before the collapse of the soviet union, several countries got their heads together and intentionally forced the soviet union to spend vast amounts of revenue on defense that was never really needed. This forced our neighbors into bankruptcy.

Now with oil prices and gasoline way down, the soviet union has lost nearly 200 billion (rubles, dollars?) in sanctions in their oil industry. Now mark my word, once they are once again at the bottom of the pit, you watch gas prices go way up again. And you thought dirt only came from Washington, D.C.
