« on: September 30, 2014, 08:24:20 PM »
yea well since xp isnt supported yea

its more vulnerable  but imo? most stable os so far  xp sp3
but yea could be that

but then why did i get the same error on win7 64bit with google only..
lol :P

but yea very true mate didnt think of that!

also his norton needs to go bye bye esp on xp, wont stop anything and just intrudes, use that uninstaller tool provided by norton chadly!
maybe that will also solve it as norton might think the os's ports etc are a risk

hell my firefox hates java, i tried to look at the hrgiger gallery and had to go into java and add exception even though i clicked ALLOW AND REMEMBER still said it was a threat

waves fist

yea its not that goatmeal

my date n time are always right

again I did chat with a few people who are saying google is transforming stuff on their end,
so get ready for gmail updates etc

in doing so they are sorting through tons of search data, anything you type they keep records of.. anything you google or click on .. and in chrome.. any page any picture etc

trust me.. nothing is secure in usa  esp

damned nsa

but hey  if the clock thing works for some cool thumbs up
but again it seems google is just now looking at data again, and flagging some for so many searches or such
esp if you have a dynamic ip and it changes constantly as most do have in usa, so it seems that it might be someone else on the network, when its just you..

annnyway

lol

ahhh i dont like this era for net security.. its so.. sad..

from dosbox compat site

Timegate: Knight's Chase - Infogrames (1996)
Tested By: Jiri

runnable  -  playable  -  supported
100% (supported) height=8

DOSBox version: 0.72 (supported)

runnable  -  playable  -  supported
90% (supported) height=8

DOSBox version: 0.61 (supported)

so get .72 and rip it up

i got it working on dosbox, just make sure to visit the dosbox site to see its compatibility to which ver of dosbox you use

then make a separate dosbox config JUST for that game,

as long as the game says compatible i can get ALMOST every game to work
there ..are a few i still cant, sadly

cybermage for one.. if anyone can help with that one! hoooah

and im a dos freak sooo
and emu freak.. but a few games arent compatible

and to run a virtual os, seems the only way to run games as such
booo

to no backwards compat in anything anymore

even wii u stopped playing gc and wii games ... pfft
same as wii stopped gc games (mine has a slot for the cd of gc and controller ports most vers removed it)
ps3 1.0 and 1.1 play 88% of ps1 games  where all other vers wont play anything

xbox.. is NOT backwards compat  (xbox one) hence why fable anni was released vs TLC that no one on xbox land can play  tis why i wont buy a modern console

(i do have ps3 and ps4 but i didnt buy em) gifts, and they sit as doorstops)

yep goatmeal the part i didnt see was HOW TO GET the game running on modern machines

all the rest i saw!
just duurrr kal!

so yep it works,
just for me in windows only with that --setup addition onto the file,
without it the game wont even start up

dosbox for me it does..
which is odd he didnt know about the win installer for a while he didnt make it..
strange him saying he prefers the windows one as he created this game in dos on win 95/98 he cant remember which as he was dual booting back n forth lol

according to his posts anyway..

cheers goatmeal, most of us have that site but for those that dont!
there ya go, and in case you pull a "kal"  RTFM !   if you dont know what rtfm means google it lol

Odd thing is, before QFI was released, Blackthorne had the page codes listed where most gamers never go. That's like driving down the road, looking for a store that sells red paint, and you drive right on past a red building!

woah how did you know that! arent you new to the forum?

claps .. well done matey well done..
so did you make it past the symbols?

did you make it to the bar

and sir..
nothing to do with the game

but for your time, dedication and service of our country in one of the worst wars ever..
i salute you!
Glad you made it back !
and are here happy and gaming!

ptsd might be there forever, but if you are gamin  you sir rock for many many reasons
