The pay-off?  No matter where you click on the endless stacks of books to look, Mr Roehm doesn't move at all.  Instead, he simply says, "Oh, here's the book I've been tasked with finding, right infront of me."  He grabs the book, turns and walks off-screen.

...Thus summarily negating the highly-anticipated "library book/document search puzzle" trope !   

You sadistic bastard.  I love the idea!

Great to see that work is progressing.  Thanks for the update and the shout-out to Jack Houston.  I've already backed it, but still might up it towards the end.  I love seeing how close a lot of these adventure game developers have become.  It brings a tear to my eye.

Heck, I can always make time for more games! I'd love to see Lori and Corey return with a game - in the QFG realm or any other. But...QFI has one thing that QFG doesn't...me in the game. Oh, wait, maybe that's not a positive thing! 

What do you mean?  I so look forward to seeing both of us in the dungeon.

As I mentioned there, AM wasn't a major deciding factor for me.  I really only cared that Al and Josh were on board to write the remake.  It does suck that they were dropped for another developer, but Josh pretty much cleared up the reasons for doing so.

I played black cauldron pre KQ I think, but was it point and click? 

The original wasn't, I don't think--but someone made a nifty point and click remake of it several years ago that's still floating around.

Someone made a PNC remake of Black Cauldron?  You don't happen to know the link, do you?  I'd love to give it a try.

Let me see.  My first adventure game was Zork and its brethren, followed by the Sierra parser-based games.  As far as actual PNC adventures, though, I'd probably have to say Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

IQ Chat / Steam Greenlight Announced

I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this news, but Steam just announced its Greenlight service, scheduled to launch at the end of August.  As it currently stands, all games that have been submitted to Steam goes through an internal process of review.  With Greenlight, users can have a say in what gets published on their digital distribution platform.  I think that it would be a great way to get Quest for Infamy some attention by having Infamous Quests submit this project for review.  I know that I'd do my best to get it upvoted.

To tell you the truth, I haven't completed a single playthrough of the demo.  I got the brigand quest, but haven't completed it.  I probably should load it up and finish.
