These are two concept Sketches for the farm and Barn area of the game.  These were drawn by Jason Lamb.

You can see the farm in Demo 2.0 - but you'll have to wait for the full game to see the finished background for inside the barn - and what's inside!

Apologies. This thread was supposed to be updated often with concept art from Quest for Infamy. So to make up for it, here's a bunch all at once. Expect more to come!

The interesting thing about this is that there are some screens here which changed from the final versions!

Hey, I would like to see more of those shots but verry nicely done, i havent checked in for a little while and now theres more pictures to look at. Looking somewhat verry gloomy even thought the game has quite a bit of color is that the intent of the look for the game ?.

The game has a lot of different areas, and a couple are gloomy, but lots of other locations are quite cheerful.

So I wouldn't say the whole game is intended to feel gloomy, there's some areas which are anything but :)

Hey guys, here's some more stuff for you to take a gander it - these are character study ideas by Jenny Pattison for the Council of Tyr, and the Guard of Tyr - Tyr's arrows!  Tyr's arrows is an all female enforcement team, led by Voleris, who Roehm comes to know during the game.

You've been working on this a long time. What's the OLDEST concept art you have? :) That which makes you cringe would be most welcome!

Heh - well, I did start this thread a while back - it has some of the very first images!  I'm sure I can dig up some original 2004 stuff if I search around on some old computers/hard-drives!  I did find the original design document from 2004 recently!

I saw you posted on Facebook. :) I would love to see the '04 stuff. Maybe introduce a secret "Life of D. Duck" mode out of it!

The design of the bodyshapes themselves means little for our game since they only appear at such low res in their sprite form there are barely enough pixels to be able to tell, so the sketches themselves are really just all about the clothes and accessories, and are all painted on top of the same original body sketch.

The body shape of these ones is definitely on the curvy side, but nothing wrong with that, right? :)

Heck yes, the more curves the better!

Corrigan Yes your right about the curves of the woman :P, nothing can beat that I was just like pointing out what i saw in the pictures above :), but thanks for the comeback on that....

Now the game is on pre order though the humble bundle is there going to be another demo before full release to the backers or just full game when its done ?.

Found some OLD concept art that someone (BT probably) made WAY back in 2004.

This is what you find when you finally decide to clean up your folders that have migrated through about 3 computers over the years.

PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE NOT USED IN QUEST FOR INFAMY - THESE ARE FROM OUR FORMER ABORTED PROJECT FROM ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. I just thought you'd get a laugh.

Isn't that first one from King's Quest VI? Just stick a rotting boat to the left side of the dock, and "Hey mister! Come on in! The water's fine, and I can show you the way to the next island!"

Yep - I made these concepts out of pieces of old Sierra backgrounds! These were just concepts - ideas I had at the time. We wanted to make our own original backgrounds, but I put these together to show what  I wanted at the time.  These were never intended for game use - just for literal concepts!

Don't laugh at me, but my first thought was that they're actually very good!  Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Klytos thanks for the pics, i think for a bit of a laugh you could have used them with the backer area to confuse those that havent seen any of the screens but oh well :), all in good time for sharing old art :).

Nice work for old 3d pic's tech always improving so you just have to live in the time you have :).

Haha. Don't blame me, blame the alphabet! I just uploaded them in that order. ;) Though I wouldn't say they were bad at all, even as concept art I think they're very good. I just can't wait for everyone to see the final versions of those in game.

The worse the concepts look the better the final product looks in comparison. So taking that theory, could we have some Steve sketches lol
