Hahah, this is not even fair!

The QfG1 remake and QfG4 are both VGA games. Same color depth and same resolution.  QfG1VGA uses interpreter version 2.000.411 and QfG4 uses 2.000.000. Are you sure that you are not confusing the remake with the original EGA Hero's Quest?

I'm sure. QfG4 graphics are much superior to the ones from QfG1 remake. Actually, I like the graphics in the original Hero's Quest much better than the "improved" soulless graphics of the remake with all its clay monsters, blurred portraits and stuff.

I just think the whole idea of this tournament is somewhat silly, to be honest.  Whether two games are AGI or SCI or VGA has little to do with how good the background art is or not.  And there are clearly different games within each era that have significantly improved graphics from earlier games in that same era.
Lambonius...Rarely has our moderating team encountered a forumite as consistently unpleasant as you, and you've burned through far more chances than you deserved. A person really has to try hard to be so obnoxious that they're banned from AG, but you've managed it and then some.
