So I've killed the Beast and taken his head. How do I melt his teeth down now?

simple but I guess it could be hard,

how far have you gotten?

hint you need to use the tool in front of the fire, and the fire,
if you got that much figured out, the rest should be easy

I've gotten that far. Trying to figure out how to make the guy let me use his stuff. Do I distract him?

As far as I know, he'll never just give you the stuff.  So yes, you have to distract him.

If only Volksville wasn't such a one horse town, then you could do it somewhere else.
Guess you're tied to Smith.

whats odd is if you are a rogue or sorc u can slap the horse, and he never returns ever

trading saddle for hammer seems also pointless, as one never uses it shrug

Brigands use it.
Lambonius...Rarely has our moderating team encountered a forumite as consistently unpleasant as you, and you've burned through far more chances than you deserved. A person really has to try hard to be so obnoxious that they're banned from AG, but you've managed it and then some.

why trade that for a saddle?

Alright, I've distracted him with the horse, I have the tongs. I have clicked the teeth on the forge, water, and anvil: nothing. I have clicked the tongs on the teeth, nothing. What am I missing?

You need a steel helm to put the teeth in.
Spoiler (hover to show)

Do a search for mattwritesstuff and you'll find lots of game info.

yea that puzzle got me a bit at first since just touching the skeleton doesnt get you the helm it just falls off
but if you read...
instead of click past the text, it says it fell into a hole behind the guy,  check there for that helm!

my odd question is why does it need to be that helm, esp for melting stuff, anything woulda worked,
even a nice iron mug from a cheap beer

though Im guessing there is only glassware in volksville lol
