Anyone figure out how to beat Bt?

I think I know how this is accomplished now.  Bt's thinly veiled instruction manual did the trick.  Of course, I already knew what at least two of the steps were.

im still lost on the start point as we dont know if it will let us know if it triggers or not

also I noticed something odd,  the feed bag from the barn seems to vanish from my inv by act I
and this has happened on each play. not sure why..

bts post is funny, but didnt help much unless its a dog in heat lol
I even took it into PS and took red out to see if something was hidden
not much there, looks like maybe a horseshoe is on the bottom right but... prollly just my mind

It probably happened when you got the brain from the head.  If you aren't carrying the feed bag, Roehm won't pick up the brain, because he doesn't have an appropriate container to carry it in.  We probably could have spelled this out more clearly with narration or an edit to the inventory sprite, since it all basically happens automatically if you're carrying the right items.  Oh well.

There's been mention of watching the intro.  Are there hidden numbers in the initial credits?  Or perhaps there's something you're supposed to click or type while the intro is rolling?

Is the type in book the first thing to be done and is it the 1 thing to do before Act II?

you can find most in the hex code too so I dont think thats the answer as they say they hid it from hex
