I don't think so.  As far as I know, the directions are always incorrect if you kill him.

That makes sense.  I'd do that, too, if someone ran me through!  The assistant's surprised words reminded me a bit of the killing of the river in Journey Quest.  Any chance it was a reference?

I'll play this again in December and do my full playthrough as a (mostly) good mage.

If I still can't find Blackthorne then I'll look up the solution- I'm sure by then that SOMEBODY will have to have found it.

so far we got as many hints as we could

1. its hidden but not, aka hidden in plain sight
2. its not something that can be clicked on per se
3. its a multi step condition
4. its rumored to be like sq2's IA bar, and if you know how to see that... well death or something like it might be a solution to finding the bar and bt

anyone know what the symbol at the well wall does?

In looking at the attached photo of the secret boss fight, it appears to be an exact mirror image of Roehm. More hair on the face. Roehm's teeth aren't showing because they are hidden.

Has it been confirmed that the supposed gamer actually found the secret boss?
Is he (or she) just a gamer or part of the developers?
Can the developers confirm the photo is the actual secret boss fight?
Has the average gamer (me, you, non game personnel) found this fight?
If the photo is not an official boss fight, and only two of the programmers
know how to access it, why in the #$%& have it at all if us average
gamers cannot experience it?

Simply put, can the developers confirm the image and the poster is not associated
with them in any way?
