IQ Chat / Re: Hello Kickstarter Backers and QFI fans!
« on: July 10, 2012, 06:50:17 PM »
It was in the mid 90s outside and over 100 in my house. The hot, stagnant air in the house made it impossible to sleep. All of the businesses near me had lost power, too. I also lost a refrigerator full of food. a disgusting, smelly mess to clean out by flashlight.

Where do you live collector?

Cool, thanks for the bug report.  As it was a demo, it was bound to have a couple!

Just a quick update on the demo.  A lot of work has gone into the additional bgs and sprites...etc. I would have had the opportunity to add things to game this week, but I have been without power until about an hour ago since last week due to the storms in the dc area.  Once I get my house in order and my parents (who are still without power) taken care of, I will get on the updated demo/game.  The demo 2.0 is coming but got delayed a bit.  Mother nature can be a pain!

Yeah, affter talking to brattle for the first time, the next time you are in front of the town gates, you can see it float down the river and get stuck onthe banks in the middle portion of the river. After that it will be there...until you find a way to get it outnthat is.  ;)

Yeah, this place was hopping at least behind the scenes up until the kickstarter launched.  Since then, both forums have been really quiet.  Not much to say for the time being I guess.

I found two so far:

- Getting killed by the beast
- Trying to release the smiths horse when he's looking

I guess you also can get to drunk in the pub? Haven't had time to try it yet though

The way some of the guys on the team can drink, I would think that it would be impossible to die drinking...maybe throw up a little bit, but not die!

With this being an adventure/rpg style game, you knew you could die.  I am curious to hear how many ways you have found to do it!  I can think of at least 6....

It's great to see that there is interest in re-making these type of games. But unfortunately there doesn't seem to be interest in making it in a Mac format.  :'(

That is more due to the engine that we are using to make the game!  There is no mac version of AGS.  It takes us a little more time to be able to wrap the game into a mac-friendly version, and even then, there seems to be difficulty getting it to work perfectly.  We will be trying to make a mac version, but for now not too much love!  Sorry!
