Early on, if you get through the rune gate from prior knowledge, and after killing the beast, you can just walk through the front entrance and speak with the boss. Notice the 4 runes? Haven't seen anyplace where those 4 can be manipulated, or have I? Does the traffic cone and worm scale also play a part here? Come on, yall, get yer thinking caps on!

I killed the moonshiner's assistant and he says to go left at every opportunity. I tried that, figuring maybe I'd end up at the BT fight. NOPE!

Do you have a previous save before getting the locket from Japsworth? Use WinRAR or what ever and shrink that save and maybe attach it in this thread. An archived file will be relatively small and should come through ok. I'll be glad to load it up and try to see what's going on.

Also, tell what character you're playing.

Attachments and other options is where you can send the compressed save while in your posting window.

I did put the nails in the tree where you use the grappling hook to get to the Gnol. Didn't know what to do after that. The nails are still there, but apparently no use other than the message about being on the right track.

I have a glass mug, water beaker, and horned helm. Probably need a beaker, but nobody has any.
He said near the old mansion, so I assume it's the overgrown fountain.

Quest for Infamy / Trying things never thought of before
« on: August 01, 2014, 11:42:41 AM »
I found out a Sorcerer can frighten the Gnol and he gives you the seal piece. But don't try to fight him. He has a hidden HUGE axe, and of course you lose.

Went to Hummel's north location and tried to use float to get across the area where the bridge was out. Roehm declined the attempt. So I thought what if his magic was at least 200, so I managed that. Had him to make the attempt again and he promptly fell to his death.
A Sorcerer can break into houses and get loot. It can be traded to the guy standing by the store fronts.

Nails?/spikes can be put in a certain tree where you go to see the Gnol. After putting the nails in the tree, there doesn't appear to be anything else you can do to the tree. But a message does say you're on the right track!

Quest for Infamy / Re: Re: Shouldn't map usage pass time?

I think the idea was that with the sorcerer, most players are going to be back and forth from Prospero on Days 3 and 4 collecting spell ingredients, so they'd stumble upon it naturally.
I talked to the guy standing by the stores and he has them for sale on day 2, I think and on day three when you're without a map.

I rapidly clicked on the block icon to build spell back up, then hit him again, and again.

Again, by continuously and rapidly clicking on the icon 4th from left, to max out the purple bar, then clicking the batterang, and quickly rapidly clicking on the 4th icon and repeat. Anyhow, the various worlds and pretty colors just aren't logical for this game. It's clearly a photo shop rendering. Nice try guys, I just don't buy it ! ! !
