Quest for Infamy / Thing I noticed
« on: July 26, 2014, 11:58:27 PM »
I didn't have much trouble playing a Thief in this game as it seems to suit Roehm's nature and the game has a very dark and gothic atmosphere to it.

However, in Heroine's Quest I felt like complete crap playing as a Thief and kind of guilty for the way I acted. (the game chastizes you if you rob from the dead)  That game seems to center a lot around being honorable and a True Warrior.  I actually restarted to play as a Warrior instead for that reason.

Quest for Infamy / Bug with Rogues

Rogues are able to sneak into the Thieve's Guild using the map, even before getting in there through the proper channels.

Quest for Infamy / Pickpocketing from stores
« on: July 24, 2014, 03:32:54 PM »
Is it possible to pickpocket every item from a store? (excepting inaccessible stealing places like Prospero's and the Tavern and food hut?)

I've noticed that once you steal one or two items from a store that it's no longer possible- do they just get suspicious of Roehm's presence or something?  Or do you have to wait a while between stealing stuff to avoid arousing their suspicion?

(note- I love the dialogue when you steal a tent!  The cigar dialogue was fun too, and it feels amusing giving Rayford contraband cigars to smoke.)

Taking off the robe in front of them doesn't provoke a reaction although putting it on does.

Quest for Infamy / Passing the hunters- Thief option?
« on: July 20, 2014, 07:41:10 PM »
I'm just curious but are there any Thief-only options for getting past the hunters?

Quest for Infamy / HQ + QFI Desktop Icon
« on: July 20, 2014, 01:37:20 AM »
When you put the Heroine's Quest desktop shortcut icon one directly to the left of the QFI one it looks like Roehm is learing at the HQ heroine. ;D

Quest for Infamy / Rune Puzzle
« on: July 19, 2014, 06:55:43 PM »
So... what's the trick to getting past the Rune Puzzle?

I've read it's kind of bugged but I really want to see what happens if you try to go in through the front!  8)

Quest for Infamy / The final bug!
« on: July 19, 2014, 06:02:26 PM »
Sorry for annoying ya'll with my bugs.  But I found the last one I could see!

During the final act, if you go and try to steal an apple in view of the Apple Man enough times, he'll go and summon Rayford to get you.

However, obviously he shouldn't be able to do that.  ;)

I've had a lot of fun finding all these bugs, really.  Not kidding either.  ;D   If I didn't enjoy this game so much I wouldn't have buggered with that.

Any chance I can get my name in the credits as a Tester? ;)

Quest for Infamy / Grammar Nazi Bug

The description of the Bastard Sword has one.

The phrase "in it's name" should be "in its name."

Quest for Infamy / Brattle bug
« on: July 19, 2014, 05:42:15 PM »
As a Rogue, Brattle's house is locked at night.

However, playing as Sorcerer I can get in there at night with the Open Lock spell.

When I do though, he's nowhere to be seen in bed nor is his son.

Quest for Infamy / Rayford bug?
« on: July 19, 2014, 05:22:14 PM »
Prospero warns you not to cast the Unlock spell in front of Rayford but, if you do just that in front of him, nothing happens.  Shouldn't he arrest you or something?

Banter and Chit-Chat! / Knock knock knocking down Rayford's door...

I've done this a few times as a Sorcerer.  It is rather fun although he does keep replacing it.

Are there ever any consequences to this action?

I figure that at some point he'd at least station a guard in front of his house, heh! :P

(or invest in an iron door!)

Quest for Infamy / Another bug (tree)
« on: July 19, 2014, 04:49:43 PM »
If you already scare off the owl and take the feather, you can still burn the tree.

It'll cause another feather to appear (despite there being no owl animation) a reference to the owl as if you had set it on fire.

I enjoyed the reference to One Piece when you click on the tree after it's been burned though. ;)  I also caught the DB one too. :)

Quest for Infamy / Ina and Kit question
« on: July 19, 2014, 03:47:45 PM »
Is there anything I can do with them in the game romantically?  I keep hoping with a high enough Infamy score I may have a shot but so far no dice.

The closest I can get is trying to give them perfume, and having Ina's dad be all like, "noooo, she can't go to the pub with you" whenever I ask her out for drinks.
