Quest for Infamy / Not understanding infamy points
« on: April 14, 2015, 04:00:55 PM »
This got me really puzzled when doing the moonshiner mission:

Finding the associate in the woods,
Spoiler (hover to show)

How come I get more infamy points for a solution that does not bring me further in the game?

And again with the moonshiner,

Spoiler (hover to show)

I don't understand the game mechanics behind these paradoxes?

Hello there

Looking very much forward to the upcoming QfI release, I've already warned my wife that I may need some time away from the family to cope with the impending sleepless nights.

Anyway, this takes me back to the very first glimpse I got of the infamous project, in the days of Infamous Adventures. I remember seeing a picture of a firstedition of what came to be Mr. Roehm in the woods of Spielburg, surrounded by three goblins, with his sword at the ready. The promise of that picture got me quite hooked. I've found the picture again on google, but wont post it here since I don't know the reason why it is no longer at the Infamous Adventures website. But I digress. What I got curious about was the combat system originally intended in the old screenshot. It seems somewhat Moonstone-ish, or perhaps a bit like QfG V. What did you have in mind back then, when you made that?
