Well ok 1tb might not be A LOT for a family of four, or two. However there are four in my family. Data Caps suck as ive said before, however if you try and look at it from comcraps ppoint of view and they have million of customers and have to provide bandwith on thousands of servers..... Not that im defending them. I stream a couple movies a week, download win updates, play online games as well. If they hit me with a massive increase to my already 150 plus bill I cancel service. I live in a small city (10000 people), but can get Verizon or local wifi Internet if I have to. ITs all bullshit, I bought my own modem and highspeed router instead of using Comcast's shit equipment that they charged me 20 bucks a month. My gear surpasses my Internet speed. This increase or cap wont last long once they start losing customers.
mate
youre view is that they need the bandwidth ? hahahahaha
they offer UNLIMITED up and down for 50$ more, if bandwidth was the issue.. they wouldnt offer that
this is a scam
and no you dont look at it from comcasts view
when i say netflix is and has sued comcast (partner) twice and is on a third you know some serious shit is wrong.
ive been with comcast 17 years, never was there data anything, no one in usa knows what they use.. i bet you dont truly
even my mum uses more than 1tb a month and she is 72 years old (she streams netflix behind her bookeeping and just listens to it.)
she was at 1.2 tb last month..
comcast isnt doing this for revenue if its only 1% or less of consumers as they claim
this is netflix and the fcc's point
its foresight
to know that almost half of comcast users will go OVER that limit and not even know it
esp once the next gen hw comes out in jan-feb 2017
urmm mate no one i know uses physical disks anymore, steam gog etc are all digi cloud based.
you cannot possibly suggest to gamers to get a raid stack and install all games to that and never download them again.
heck even physical PC CE boxes require digi dl and activation for dlc and updates.
even if you use the discs
my net atm costs me 69$ a month for 250mbit net
but with that will come a 200+ addition. 269$ for net.. is nuts in usa..
esp when they KNOW more than 1% or less will go over it
hence the fcc ruling.. again imagine the original cap comcast tried 300GB! 300!!
wwwaahh
again the bottom line is this
most americans dont know how much data they use, period (and they arent informed by comcast even now)
most americans are finding out this news from yahoo or google feeds not from comcast
most claim they dont use even close to 1tb and when they are asked to look they are near or OVER that limit and have been for years.
sooo yeaaaaa
goo team usa
