You know I wish someone would buy/license Quest for Glory and make a new game. That old series is my favorite in adventure/RPG type of games. Sadly I think it's time is long gone, with the advent of 3rd person/1st person games. I really hope someday we could get the monies needed to create Quest for infamy 2: The further adventures of Roehm. :) ;) 8)                 Chadly.

Quest for Infamy / Re: Update / replace intro V.O. in QFI 2.0?

I am supporative and enthusiastic too! I really think that someday there will be a resurgance in interest for adventure games like QFI and others. Maybe it's a pipe-dream?  Lots of people enjoyed these games in the past. And hey if Bell-bottom jeans can come back in style so can adventure games.  It just takes proper advertising. I'm tired of shoot-em ups and MMo's. Hell i tired of most games these days. Long live Infamous Quests!!! Lets KS for QFI2!!!!!

From what i have seen of this game it is good. I haven't played it yet. I will tho. Have to say I don't care for the main characters voice. This game certainly took a long time to make, and least what i have seen they did a very nice job of it. I like the selective icon choices. (Sierra style/Lucas Arts.) I will buy this game and give a play-thru when I have time.  On a different note, I very much enjoyed Hero U, yes it was 3d. I would have preferred a 2d style. Yes it has bugs, which have been corrected. For the amount of money and time far more than they Kickstarted over 2 campaigns, Im happy with what I got. I got what I org pledged for.  Many detractors. One guy trashed the game. attacked me personally for supporting it. I actually got banned for a month for KS for Engageing said Troll/Asshole.

The original Tron was great amd so was the remake! Also I enjoyed "Ready Player one" You had to be from the 80's to get all the classic references.

Ok, this topic is kind of sappy I guess, About ten years ago I ran into a few folk, who had a web site called Infamous Adventures. It evolved to Infamous Quests.  I met some folks who liked, old sierra,or Lucas Arts games. Just old classic games that I enjoyed playing. Just a bunch of nerds/geeks who like me enjoyed the former... Now some years gone, These cool folks made a couple I enjoy..for almost free. QFI/Order of the Thorne. Sure, they were not free, and cost all who gave time, some dollars, who put time and effort into them to make money. But they brought me back to my childhood, to a sense of adventure. One that I was happy to support and pay for. Maybe I am a old guy, for That one Moment I had my childhood back, it's not like today's shit games, with violence/kill everyone. With the games I speak of, there is a goal, with humor and fun that is sorely lacking in games today.  TO all that still loves adventure games I salute you, and I will support you, monetary or however i can.   Sorry for the Rant, but Thank-you, Steve, Shawn,Jason. Jen, everyone who made an effort to surprise and revive life, to a genre that will will never die.  Thanks guys and gals.... Chadly.....

Banter and Chit-Chat! / What's your favorite fast food joint?
« on: December 04, 2018, 12:21:21 PM »
As the topic line suggests, I am hungry for good 'ol American unhealthy fast food. So what's your favorite? I am torn between three: Chick Fil A (Don't care about their religion or politics, they make the best chicken), Burger King, and lastly Wendys. BK whoppers are the best. Wendy's chili and the Baconator, plus frostys! Damn now I;m really hungry. Also Taco Bell is a favorite. (However they should call it taco hell sometimes. Lol.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries in also Awesome.

Yeah baby. When this game comes out I'm definately buying it. Now if we could get SpaceVenture to release I'd be a happy man. Oh and Star Citizen releasing some time this decade would be nice too.

@caldric I have not as of yet. However I have read and watched many movies/tv shows. Enough that frighten me. The Stand by Stephen King is an example.
