Oh I would be way more excited about a new game. But I don't all of a sudden think remakes suck just cos they are not the "in thing".  Sure they are no longer a novelty, but Schafer doing GF and to a lesser extent Jensen doing GK is still pretty awesome.

A remake of GF is not the project I would have chosen. But rather than be negative about the fact that it is not a new game, I am excited that an adventure game is making waves on the biggest gaming stage in the world, by one of the biggest companies.

I can understand you guys who have spent years doing remakes being sick of them. For me it has only involved playing a few games that I already love.

Given that a successful remake could lead to further projects it can't be a bad thing

While the remakes may be considered "old news" my excitement for this project isn't really about the remake.

The idea of Sony wanting an exclusive with Schafer for an adventure game on their flagship console and then choosing to announce it at E3 is massive!!! To me this is the result of a fan community backing and creating remakes and then kickstarters and now we have one of the biggest companies in the world being a "great help" to re-master an adventure game.  I mean one of the headlines was "Sony hit E3 with GTA V, Unchartered 4 and Grim Fandango". That is pretty freaking cool

It is awesome news. I find it interesting how quickly the adventure community has gotten used to this revival. A few years ago a thread like this would have had 100s of replies. I get that part of it is a move away from forums to social media. I just hope that the muted response isn't a sign of apathy. So many fought so long to keep the embers burning, now that they are beginning to really burn it is important that such projects get well supported.

Yeah the bugs were a given, I was interested in what the other 1000 things on the to do list would be.there are the logistics of getting the physical game posted, the hint book, press interview and I am sure heaps of other things tha are involved in launching a game which I have no clue about.

Congrats guys!! A couple more months hard work and you can start the process all over again?

What do the next two months look like for you BT? I am sure you must have  a lot of varied tasks I think it would be interesting for fans to get an insight into the kind of things you have to tick off.

What kind of download numbers are you looking at now that you are on Steam?

Guys I gotta be honest, love the game however what concerns me is the  amount of hoops I have to go thorough just to get a copy
and am very reluctant to download  the new version for this reason can  you please consider hosting a more direct   link and reach out to the community for mirrors instead of file shearing sites

I think you are overstating the problem. Having to register with a website is hardly having to jump through hoops to get a FREE game! To download any commercial game you need to be registered with the site distributing it and still need to part with your cash

IQ Chat / Re: Quest For Infamy Kickstarter

Fair play! Again seriously well done on the KS project, while an art book is not really my bag it pleases me so much to see the community is still willing to get behind projects. I am aware it is a very small sample of the community who have contributed so far but hopefully it is a sign that some of the cynicism (which was well justified) about kick starter projects has not tainted KS as a whole and good teams with good ideas will still be able to raise funds this way.

Am sure I will manage to flick something small towards it.

Wow you smashed that Kickstarter! I hate to be the prick that asks about release dates but my desire for the game outweighs my desire to not be a prick! I see that the book is scheduled for July and you mention you that the book will release with the game, does this mean we are now looking at July? Not too bothered if it is, just nice having a general idea of release.

Awesome game! Really enjoyed it!

What kind of download numbers has it had so far?

I am sure the allegation/ charges were only part of the reason they left, trowe was a train wreck waiting to happen. I found him infuriating and I had only read half  A dozen things written by the guy so I can't imagine what working with him would be like. Would love Josh to do a kickstarter he deserves every success and sadly won't have the opportunity to build on the success that LSL reloaded had, hope he got a good royalty out of it anyway.

Just think trowe  wanted both Space Venture and Hero U under the replay banner, what a disaster that would have been.

It is amazing that Al and Josh managed to pull the project together while working with such an "interesting" boss. Does anyone know if Josh is still, working for them?
