Thanks for replies. I have met gnome twice already - he was followed by two girls both times. Explored all the map twice and cannot meet him again. Cannot do anything with the hole of the tree too :(

Any suggestions?

Thanks again. Already was there and tried to give to bear any item I have and any song I know (currently four). No result.

Klytos:
So there Gnome was being attacked by the bear? If not, you need to have done the other two cutscenes with the gnome, the one at the river bend and the one at the tree where he's stuck by his beard.

SOLUTION IN THIS SPOILER TAG!
Spoiler (hover to show)If you've done that and the bear is attacking the gnome, give the bear the beehive. To get the beehive you have to wrap it in your cloak. Then jam it onto the end of a piece of bamboo.
