Spoiler (hover to show)Note that if you go to the bear without the bamboo, the gnome won't show up. You need the bamboo first. It's part of the game keeping you out of unwinnable situations.

again unlike qfi this game relies on triggered events to cause the next

qfi well kinda could do anything per day etc,
but this game, requires triggers!

keep it in mind and yep if
Spoiler (hover to show)the gnome isnt under the bear and you dont rescue him yet, no booty for ye!
Spoiler (hover to show)its not just the bamboo needed you must combine items! figure what bears might like!
