Quest for Infamy / Dialogs question
« on: July 29, 2014, 06:51:14 PM »
Is there any setting that allows the player to turn off the need to left click in order for a dialog to progress? If not, I wish there was. It's really annoying to have to do this constantly. I notice that during cut scenes, the dialogs progress without having to click the mouse. Having the rest of the dialogs act this way would be great, IMO anyway.

Cheers!

well not sure why one didnt max stealth within a few min after the execution at least to 50
:P takes all of 2 min or so,

lol
Two minutes?? I've snuck around for a lot more than two minutes (at least 4 anyway!  ;) ) but that's as far as my stealth has risen. You got a trick for increasing it faster?

Is it possible to break into Rayford's place while playing as a sorcerer? I've been able to
Spoiler (hover to show)
My mystical power is at 45, but my thievery is only at 10, and my stealth at 14. Do these stats need to be higher to get into Rayford's, or is his place off limits as a sorcerer?

Quest for Infamy / Re: Re: Re: Bridge near moonshiner's camp

It's still currently in the works.  We're fixing all reported issues and also working on a few new small pieces of extra content for the game.  It should be a fairly substantial update when all is said and done.

Awesome! You guys have done a fantastic job on this game. QFG was one of the first AG's I played back in the day, and this takes me right back there. Actually, I like this one better!

Cheers!

There's an updated version? Is it going to show up on GOG soon?

Haven't played as a Brigand yet. Will I ever see their hideout playing as a Rogue?

Playing as a Rogue: If I let the moonshiner leave to get his purse, he heads north and disappears. I follow and can't find him, so I cross the living tree bridge on the left. If I try to go further west, the narrator says I can't go that way.....yet. Is there a time that I can proceed from there? If so, when?

I have stats as follows: Climbing (70)  Stealth (56)  Thievery (77)

What is needed to break into Brattle's place? I have been able to get into the other houses, but not this one...

Quest for Infamy / Re: [Rogue] My game is completely bugged
« on: July 23, 2014, 10:35:18 PM »
Same issue as the original post here.

I also tried the timing reset by breaking into the bank, then immediately heading back to the treants. I used the map to get to the cemetery, then headed for the treants. First I tried just walking past the so-called burned out tree on the left (the other was still intact, but "asleep", and the game froze with the head and red blinking eyes. Had to restart and try again. Next, I tried giving the tree on the right the pine cone, and the game crashed to the desktop, with this error message:

An error has occurred. Please contact the game author for support, as this...blah blah blah....
(ACS version 3.3.0.1160)
in “GlobalScript.acs”, line 9359
Error: FaceCharacter: characters are in different rooms

Any other suggestions, short of going back and doing the treant quest before I nab the bird?

Awesome game to this point, by the way!  Cheers!
