Game-ending bug in the mines, 1.1 OSX GOG

I recently encountered a bug in the mines.  Roehm woke up less than 8 hours ago, so he should not be tired.  However, 10 seconds after my save, the game suddenly declares that I can't go on without sleep forever, though I still feel like I could take on the world.  10 seconds after that, Roehm passes out from exhaustion and dies.  I had a couple sequential saves, but all were in the mines, and all fall victim to this bug before I can exit the mines.

I can attach a save file if that would be helpful, as soon as I, ahh, figure out where the save games are for Mac.

Heh, okay - the name of the save files are agssave.XXX, so if you look for that, you'll be able to find them.

Ahh, thank you!  For anyone else who's wondering, for Mac the savegames are in /documents/my save games

just curious bt,
what was the issue?
as I cant replicate that on my ver currently hmm

no need to get into the code just curious on how stuff does what it does n why
i dont even recall that in any ver of my plays

Yes, that worked perfectly, thank you!  When the warning came up that I can't go forever without sleep, now I can go back to the inn and rest.

I wish I knew what circumstances caused that to happen so I could avoid it in the future, but I'm really happy with the very quick fix of my game!  Thank you so much!

oddly never died from food or sleep loss,
and i slept like 900 day (yes exaggeration) in a row
never died from those
and rock on about the fix.
still curious what was up with that, hopefully it was isolated to one area not the whole game but.. still
