why was that removed shrug

try winning archery, without all bulleyes on earlier patch, then getting all bullseyes.

see if it works for extra infamy

To be fair, I used the Wiki as the basis, and checked out what they had at the start.

I only tried "Winning at Archery" to confirm the points, not "getting all bulls-eyes" because I didn't know about the "all bulls-eyes" bonus (or think to try it), so I didn't do it. I have no reason to expect that particular bonus was removed, so it probably hasn't changed for version 1.1.

Now that I know of it, I'll try it !

EDIT -- Just got the 5-Bulls-Eye bonus in version 1.1. Added above.

...And this is by no means a definitive list -- I'm sure there's lots that I missed, too, but with tips like this, we can make it better!

My only concern was that some things WERE missing from the Wiki list, and in its current state, it's biased heavily towards the Rogue character, while the poor Sorcerer is left out completely...

No -- For version 1.1, I got the +15 for the initial Archery win, opted to quit playing Archery (Play Again? "No"), then played Archery again until I got the 5 Bulls-eyes (another +25 more Infamy) which makes +40 Infamy in total...

OR, is it the case where you play for the first time and win with 5 Bulls-eyes the first time, but the game ONLY triggers the +15 win, and NOT the +25 "all Bulls-eyes"? 'Cause doing it separately worked on my Rogue character... Maybe try again for a second "5 Bulls-eyes" win to get the +25?

Which version/patch are you playing where this appears to have been removed for you?

Interesting Goatmeal, I looked at that as a reported bug for 1.2 (the DVD build - updated to a website near you in the near future) but couldn't replicate this issue, although to be fair I only tried what you've tried. 15 for the initial win and the 25 for the perfect score.

Also, if I may ask, what is the "pot" worth when you win with 5 bulls-eyes, in terms of money/blys? I didn't keep track of how many blys I had before I got the Bonus -- because I kept winning but not getting the perfect score, so I just kept playing on and on -- so I don't know how many were added to my money pouch when I did win the Bonus "pot"...

Is it a random amount, or fixed? Also, can you win a second/third/fourth/etc time with perfect scores and get the "pot" over and over again? Or is it a one-time deal?

I believe Jonas says something about "you win the pot," but you're probably right; it likely just means you won the match, not every bly he owns...

(Especially since he gladly takes you up on another match without hesitation the moment you click "Play Archery" again !

)

UPDATE - OK, just tested this: when you "win the pot" for a perfect score, you get 100 blys; all other wins are the agreed-upon 50 blys...

UPDATE #2 - OK, tried it again: got the perfect 500 score the first time, received +25 Infamy; won the second match (less than 500), received +15 Infamy. Total = +40 Infamy. Did it two separate ways:
1. "play game" / win 500 / quit ("no") / "play game" again / win again
2. "play game" / win 500 / play 2nd game in a row ("yes") / win again

just curious as I can replicate this evveery time

the only ver this worked on was the original game no patch and I think the first mini patch but on that one im not sure
for sure the original game gave the infamy
but current steam ver, noper
hasnt for some time now

still get the hun rankin no matter what but odd this wasnt noticed or I wonder how it got omitted in the code hmm strange

I wouldn't say that I reported it... only because it always works for me.

It was left off the list only because I didn't think to try it -- I didn't know it was something that DID result in Infamy points in the first place.

So, it was a simply a case of "I just never did it/tried it," as opposed to the problem Kaldire and Lurker have that "I did it/tried it but can't get the +25 Infamy"...

Since Kaldire first mentioned that I should try it, I've NEVER had that problem with Humble version 1.1.2. I ALWAYS get the +25 for perfect score. So for me, it's not a bug.

Probably because I'm just so darn Awesome...

...not to mention Infamous.

humble and gog arent patched fully i dont believe

steam is, and frankly this cant be done on the current steam build

ive reported it to bt and klytos since well some beta on that patch build

Well, I've only got the Steam version to go by, and I've only managed the perfect score with my Sorc. ( The minigame gives me a literal headache, and I *really* wish there was an option to bypass the minigame with an item, like Roehm always shooting a perfect score if he's blind drunk.)

Start up the Steam version 1.1.1 of the game.

With your sorc win the archery game one without a perfect score. Note your infamy increase, and your new infamy score.

Leave the minigame, then talk toi the NPC to play a new game.

Replay the minigame until you get a perfect score. Look at infamy score.

Expected result +25 infamy.

Observed result: no change in infamy.

not sure if you are joking or actually just leaving this issue to the mud...

this has been replicated, talked about many times to bt by myself since the patch beta.

i have no clue what else to say other than get someone on your team who CAN replicate it
but dont sit and just say,
cant replicate..
so cant fix

its a problem, its not serious but does indeed take infamy away from the game,
its for sure.. broken 100% of the time trying on steam build.

im at a loss,
did you want a flipping video or something? almost seems you dont trust or believe me.
have bt go through his old pms I sent about this and other issues

and if need be ill make a frackin video. and post it for you to see, if thats what your brain needs to look into the code side of this issue

id think it wouldnt be to hard as there isnt much code dealing with the scoring of the archery, vs the game itself.
