Can we do that in this game? I'm replaying QFG 1 and it really is quite fun hunting down monsters and turning in their beards and claws for some shinies and potions!

Great!
You guys said you were revamping the combat in the game, I do hope it has the option to be difficult and involved like QFG 2 VGA. QFG is fun, but some of the games have pretty wimpy combat post-early game, imo.

I don't quite understand what we're actually revamping, as there was nothing there to begin with...

I wasn't really a big fan of the combat system in the demo- it just felt kinda randomish, (click the right one of 4 buttons) like there wasn't a pattern to be learned and mastered. I think a while ago someone said the combat system was being changed from that.
