I suppose that

I have no experience with version 1.0 of the game, so I have no idea which rooms weren't accessible then.

You are correct for the Brigand.  And that means the third class must follow my second hint:

The third secret area (covering the final class) is located in what would be Roehm's version of heaven: a building full of lovely ladies... and it's not the Red Door.  Why, it's enough to bring a Tyr to Roehm's eye...

Both of these classes, Brigand and Rogue, are rather straightforward: as long as you have the necessary item and/or equipment (and the requisite skill level to use said equipment), you should have no problem getting into these secret areas.

However, you may find that once you are _in_ those areas, you will need to ensure that your skills are high enough to pilfer any of the goodies found within...

I checked it, I have version 1.1. So I should have the secret areas, right?

I'm surprised that you have paid very little attention to the fact that it induces a bug: I lose access to the icon bar when attempting the action in, it seems, the right place.

Well,

If you press <Escape> to bring up the Game Menu, then click "Play" to return to game play, your Menu Bar should be restored.  (I just tried this several times, and it worked each time.)

I think I found one of the places, but there seems to be a bug.

How do I check what is my game's version? And if it's an old version - I bought the game on GOG, can I update it and if yes, then how?

Providing you have a version of the game that contains the secret rooms, you've got the right idea... maybe you're not at the correct bridge?  (I just checked my saved games for all three classes, and each class can access its own area.)

To echo Blackthorne's offer above, if you need further help or more specifics, just ask here.  We're always glad to help!

To check the game's version, it's in the bottom 1/3 of the initial start-up splash screen right after your click the game's start icon, but before the Prelude / New Game / Restore Game Main Menu.  Here's an example of version 1.1 (1.1.2, actually):

(And if you don't have an updated version, contact Blackthorne; he can help you get a newer one!)

I have actually even sent an e-mail to Infamous Quests, asking about it, but have received no response. :( Maybe the message got stuck somewhere, for example landed in the spam folder.
Anyway, I wanted to ask a question about the "Quest for Infamy Companion".
It's known that there are some secret areas in "Quest for Infamy". I (again) can't find a screenshot from the one with the pool, but this is, if I remember well, a secret area too:
...
Just posting it as an example.
I have been unable to find these secret areas on my own. Does the "Quest for Infamy Companion" include hints on how to get there?

If I recall, no.  The secret areas -- one screen for each class -- were implemented for version 1.1 / 1.2; the book mainly covers only the initial version 1.0.

Two of the secret areas (one each for two of the classes) are located near the 'bridges to nowhere.'  One is a place that wasn't able to be entered in version 1.0.  The other requires Roehm to 'rise above' his situation.

The third secret area (covering the final class) is located in what would be Roehm's version of heaven: a building full of lovely ladies... and it's not the Red Door.  Why, it's enough to bring a Tyr to Roehm's eye...

Steve's command is my wish...

Here the complementary End Screen to Quest For Glory 2, with the corrected title for Quest For Glory 3 ("Wages Of War"):

Hope you're doing well, Steve; we're all thinking of you out here on the InterWebs!

On the April 2 Twitter feed for Infamous Quests, Blackthorne mentioned that the end screen of Quest For Glory 2 (referring to "Shadows Of Darkness") didn't hold up so well...

I'm not quite sure what he's talking about; it looks great to me!   ;D

(Someone ought to make a patch for that!)

More entertainment fodder for your shelter-in-place: Star Trek: Picard is now free to non-subscribers to CBS All Access.

Or, put more accurately: Non-paid subscribers. You'll still have to sign up for the CBS streaming service to watch the show, but now there's a coupon code that unlocks Picard: "GIFT."

However, as one commenter noted:

There's no way to sign up without giving them your credit card info and having to manually cancel the subscription in the future. It's no different than any other free trial. Not sure how this is news.

I thought it would be a little odd to 'like' your post, BT, but always remember that you're in our thoughts during your trying times, and that we're rooting for you.

Sometime in the FAR distant future our Sun will become super nova and bam, no more solar system. One race of many will be erased from existence. I shouldn't really worry and even though I will have long been out of existence, I will have been truly saddened by what may have been created before the big ending!

I guess this probably ruins a few human's present day outlooks. heh heh heh

Wow.  Just think how sad you'll be when you find out about the "Heat Death of the Universe"...

seems odd to ask but how do i watch this, i cant find it on cbs

It's hidden behind a paywall for CBS's online "Hulu/Netflix/Amazon"-type service.

I think they may have released an episode or two for free viewing to spark interest from current non-payers.

Quest for Infamy / Re: Stuck at download

it says it downloaded where would I find the file I need to extract?

If your didn't select the specific location of the download, it is most likely in your Download folder (which is the default setting/location for most web browsers).

In Windows XP:
1. Left-click Start in your Task Bar
2. From that menu, select Documents > My Documents     (This will bring up the My Documents window.)
3. Select Downloads
4. Your file should be in this location

"
Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10"

Sorry about that...  It appears that different places have different minimum OS requirements:

Itch.io says "Windows"
Steam says XP
GOG says Win7
Humble says XP
The QFI Demo on the IQ website (listed above) says Vista

I figured, 'Hey, who ought to know what the minimum specs are better than the IQ website?'   ;)

yesterday windows xp..

More than likely, the problem is that you are trying to run it on an XP machine.

The requirements for QFI are:

OS: Windows Vista / 7 / 8
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1 ghz or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 2nd Generation Intel Core HD Graphics (2000/3000), 256MB
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Hard Drive: 1GB available space
