Smaug, we are talking about lipsyncing the entire game. At the moment, the engine lipsyncs to the text, so the longer the line, the more the mouth moves about. Syncing to audio is a huge job, and too huge for the demo to be released on time, but you might get lucky for the release, it would be a very nice thing to have.

What class did everyone pick first? Did Ian charm you with his slick patter? Did Kurdt persuade you to kick some beast's ass or did the pentagramishness of Prospero draw you to the mystic side?

Explore the blacksmith area before it gets dark... That's a big clue right there

It's not even 7 ways, more like 14 with all the overheads, packaging, production, studio time actors fees et cettera. This is more like a worthwhile hobby than a salary... will lead on to better things though and we're all dedicated

IQ Chat / Re: Studio

We kinda have a virtual studio in place already, as wonderful as it would be to have a physical location for us all to meet up every morning around the water cooler, it just couldn't happen (right now). The two main bosses live on opposite ends of the world and everyone else is scattered in between (USA, Australia, Canada, Scotland, England). Plus the overheads for a real studio can be ridiculous. It's almost free overheads for us all to work from home. These forums / skype and Dropbox are our studio. One day maybe though I'm hoping we can build a theme-park based on Lonaria with a massive rollercoaster and everything.

You can make the blacksmith disappear again by distracting him with something noisy/smashy.

Also remember YOU are Roehm, if you don't like the offer that Ian gives you, go with Kurdt or Prospero... This is more of drawn out quest-way to 'choose your class'. I think it's more fun than just clicking 'Brigand' or 'Sorcerer' at the start of the game.

Agree about the icons needing a dot though, but remember this is a proof of concept demo - things will be different in the real game, thanks for the feedback!

Adventure games aren't dead. They just restored their game. ;)
