I simply can't believe with all the money Star Citizen raised that they can't complete it. By the time they do, I will have to buy a multi-thousand dollar gaming computer to play it.  It's just sad, how some KS's fall Flat. You Guys made two great games, with one more on the way (Roehm to Ruin) on a very small budget.  These guys have millions to invest and years later not much to show for it.  I just wish for example Space Venture would be open on developement. Where is Scott Murphey? If he has left the project tell us that and why?  If they are broke. do another KS like the Coles did to fund completion of the game.  If I wanted to waste money I'd just flush it down the toilet. Yes, KS are a big gamble, but worth it some of the time.

I consider Hero U and Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded Sierra Successes. Also Jane Jensen's Moebius and Gabriel Knight remake.  Now if we could get Space Venture to release, as well as Robert's Star Citizen I'd be happy as a Clam.

Hi.

Timers in a game can be a pain I agree, but they are neccessary.  If you want to try amd Stat Grind to max, it can't be done.  They game makes you make choices as the game goes along at a max 60 days. @klytos Yes I agree folks who hoped this would be another QFG are probally mad and dissappointed.(I'm not ripping any who post here) However it IS the spiritual successor to Quest for Glory as it's made by the Coles.  I have played tho the entire game and it's challenging at times.  It has great replayability, because you can't go down every road in one play thru.  Is the game perfect?, no it has some glitches. But for what was made by the budget allowed(600K thru 2 KS and a unddertermined amount of the Coles own money), its a decent and fun game.  Will it have folks who hate it? Yes what game doesn't?

Hey all.

The Coles, who designed the Quest for Glory series have a new game out called Hero U:Rogue to Redemption.  It is in my opionion succesor to Quest for Glory. It's fantastic. You can get it for 30 dollars from Steam or Gog.com.  If you like Role playing games/adventure give this one a try.  You won't be disappointed.                                                                                                                            P.S.
Also being a dick on KS comments and

Hi everyone.  Hey for those who still hang out at this site, please consider a donation to the Creator of QFI Steve Alexander at www.gofundme.com/steves-kidney-journey.  Steve and his family have some rough times ahead, so please consider a 10,20 dollar donation. Do it for Steve (aka Blackthorne), do it for Steve's Kids.... :)  Thanks,

                                                                                                                                                     Chadly.

yeah freind I hear that...However in IQ and Steve's personal defense he has health problems that neither you, or I can possible relate to. Be patient because he or the the company doesnt owe you or me a Fucking thing. With that said, am I pissed that i have not received what was promised and i paid for, Hell yes I am. However my money for QFI/Roehm to Ruin/FOF, and the bloody strat guide, went to see these games made. Which for the most part they have, 2 out of three isn't bad, considering Kickstarter's Rep. Cut the man a break folks, all you did was pledge for a book?  Unless you have personally ran a company and or a Kickstarter,?  Chalk your pledge money as a loss, like I did last night playing poker at my buddy's house.  KS was and is a gamble with no guarantee's....   Nuff Said.  Chadly.

Ah yes Seven of Nine, what a fantastic character! :)  Voyager really grew on me as the series progressed. At first  I didnt care for it at all. Jeri Ryan I believe saved that show completely.  Hell she still looks fantastic all these years later. 8)   I enjoyed the finale very much.

Hey guys, in the header i've indicated my point.  Sometimes we all fall from grace and act like teenagers. (like right now)  I myself enjoy a vigorous (ms) and lively debate.  I like all folks have come upon some hard times, persoanally and professionally. Now, nowhere near as the creators of this site (BT i am praying for you and yours, and im sadly not a very God Fearing man, alto i should be according to my Mom.)  I miss the comeraderie if you will of those who once debated here.  As a supporter of Infamous Quests, and the like i"m sad that few folks talk if you will here.  Has Social Media destroyed a great thing? I say yes.  Fuckbook and Twitter have there place, but man we used to have some great debates here.....ans elsewhere i Guess.... Let's get it started again.....Its getting hot in here....SO.......    Chadly

Banter and Chit-Chat! / Star Wars: What do think of the New Movies?
« on: May 29, 2018, 01:48:09 PM »
    HI all,

So what's everyone's opinion of the New Star Wars Movies?  I Liked the Force Awakens.  I thought Rogue One was bad.  The Last Jedi was a major disappointment for me, as the way Rian Johnson treated Luke. Ok I will say it TLJ just plain Sucked!  I recently saw SOLO and thought it was meh, or ok.  It seems to me that the producers/Disney/Kathleen  Kennnedy are trying to make political/Social statements with these films. For instance, I watched an interview with Don Glover, who played Lando in Solo. He stated that Lando was a Pansexual. I actually had to look up the definition.  Weird is all I can say.

When i watched for Instance the Phantom Menace I was super excited after waiting 20 years for a new movie.  I liked it, but was a bit disappointed.  This also was the case with the Last Jedi.  I thought to myself this is going to as great AS Empire Strikes Back. It wasn't :-[ :P  I guess I set my expectations too High.  So for episode IX, the last Star Wars i will keep an open mind, but given that the director is J.J. Abrams I expect a remake of Return of the Jedi.           Whats your take?

Hi.  Happy Memorial Day here in the U.S.A. :)  Let's all take a moment to remember and thank our Vets, and all who serve this country tirelessly in the defence of freedom.  Remember those who gave all to their country.
