EASTER EGGS
« on: September 18, 2014, 09:21:03 PM »
This thread will be for people to post Easter Eggs found throughout the game. Also nods to other games, movies, etc. If they involve spoilers, please tag them as such.

I'll start:

O'Burr - the dude in all black in Volksville with the bird on his shoulder... A clear nod to James O'Barr, creator of The Crow. Also the resemblance in that he wears all black and has the crow on his shoulder. Love it!

I also love the adventurer outside the Salty Dog, who you give...fashion advice to.

Outfit #1 is the Hero's outfit from Quest for Glory VGA, where outfit #2 is the Hero's outfit from Hero's Quest. Lol - love it

Could o'burr be the guy that Prospero asks the sorcerer "do you pursue the man in black....
Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman, once sent me autographed photos that put me on cloud nine. The photos are on my living room wall.

"Pursuing the Man in Black" is a reference to the Dark Tower series by Stephen King :-)

the maid at the inn seems LSL related, same thing where she had a duster n all,
to bad when u follow her she vanishes instead of comin' up for a nite cap

also I believe the guy at the fireplace is a ref to dr livingstone as he trans versed africa and notated all animals.. and well other shat too but wore the same outfit..

also there has to be a ref to some of the folk in the square with the apple seller...
hmm

to bad petes dragon wasnt there for a nano sec stealing apples..
