Ok!
so Im getting old

this is a c64 game that I used to love,

Now I dont remember TOOO much

just that you start in a mini space shuttle ( the game did have graphics but just barely)
you could fly the shuttle, only for very short time, to find trees with special fruits

then you go to an outpost and buy stuff in a costco style store, with items like electric toothbrush or toasters odd things as well as parts for the ship

you can then hold an auction and have robots bid on the toasters and toothbrushes, etc
and make profit,
was awesome game
and the manual was like 100 pages of just the items you could buy and a blank pad in back to write down stuff on
colonies were 100% robots  (want to say its something about mars)
they all were long tubes down, you cant walk in them just click STORE, or AUCTION or on the ship on top to leave.. then hope you find coords for the next place or a tree as fuel is limited!

ahh
my brain

just sitting playing LITTLE COMPUTER PEOPLE
haha
wondering if anyone has light on that game,
at one time I tried to remake it and now I cant even think of the name of the game!
any help would be great!!

or if someone knows a forum site that many people know loads o games on let me know that too

but i got a feeling someone miiight remember this gem, was one of the first trading games ever.. mixed with oddest hitchikers feeling

Yeah i remember that game for the old C64.  I used to play it in grade school.  Anyone remember one made by Micropose called Gunship???  I can go back even further and talk about my TSR 80 and  :)  Intellivision system.

well lets not go back that far

or we could go collecovision, which i did also own
both systems sucked :P
game wise anyhow

c64 was my first baby, in terms i learned basic on that, etc started my coding skills and wanting to learn more, where none of the rest did
not even my apple or tandy
tandy rocked btw never really liked my apple II le
but shrug

im talking about games that should be remade to advents though not just sims, or such
the zany world of the most amazing thing is just awesome, trust me

lol

kinda like a tass times in tone town only in space, and not a text advent or semi text

Tandy tx 1000 the first pc i ever owned, 640k, 3.5 ld floppy drive, 16 colors.  First game Kings Quest 3 way back in 87.  That started my fascination with pc's, as i had asked Dad to buy me a Nes System and i got a 2K dollar computer.  Bring back dos 3.3 and i will be happy. LOL.

Old sierra style txt based games died about 90 as i recall.  I remember being pissed at SQ4 being point in click.  Anyway i ramble.... ;)

yep im a parser fan myself and I was miffed about point and click  for a while
but man the games are still wicked fun, in truth  infocom and all the text based advents as well as parser advents (well thats text urmm redundancy check kal) all helped me in vocab and think, like reading
where modern games as u even say, just cod crap, mindless point shoot gibs
zzzz
cs source zzz
team fort2 zzz
cod  bf zzz
none interest me

not that first person shooters suck one of my all time favs is still system shock 2  NO NOT BIOSHOCK  spit spit

again i believe but cant be sure my first game ever c64 aka pc wise, was WISHBRINGER from infocom, text based came with a wish stone .. fun for ages
either that or zork I cant really recall which i played first
in terms of which game game i played first, collectovision games, and one of my fav intellivision games was like that movie where u shrink into a person and have to fight infections in the body or it dies, was WICKED FUN still cant find the game anywhere..

advent wise though kq1 was indeed my first (not counting text based) I did play mystery house but at the time didnt know it was even a sierra team game, as in the same people made it..
again like zork only with graphics

god i love infocom games,... one had a hedgemaze and a murder plot, having a huge estate, gawwd i need to remember the names of these games
ahh SUSPECT
so many great games
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspect_%28video_game%29

and the items the infocom games came with were called FEELIES!
each game had one

 :)

btw the first sq point and clicks turned out great imo,
catch the energizer bunny, float around in the mall, turn bad guy into icecubes so he cant reform , have a wicked narrator haha anyway..
parser lover but do love MOST point n clicks MINUS the ones that let you HOLD A KEY to see everything you can touch, grr hope POS doesnt do what broken sword did.. pleease nooo

ack

its like in some advents when the only objects you can take are so obvious they stick out in color or form from other objects just kinda with a HERE PICK ME UP or INTERACT WITH ME sign.. grr again
