Some of my earliest memories of gaming on a computer was Ms. Pac-Man on our Tandy 1000. We had regular Pac-Man too but I preferred Ms. Pac-Man for the graphics, I believe.

HOWEVER, you still can't beat the TRS-80 game of "Poltergeist" for its at home arcade shock-value.  At the time.  Which was 1980.  And, its platform was a TRS-80.  In 1980.  And, the game -- a cartridge, FFS -- was really expensive.  In 1980.

LOLOLOL.  In 1980.

My memories also include a Color Computer 3 (TRS-80 equivalent), which I still have. I also still have all the floppies, cassettes, and cartridges for it. Poltergeist is one of them. I remember the game vividly, too. I was always confused about what to do. It never made any sense to me so I never played it. I still don't know what the graphics are supposed to represent to this day.

I've heard there are controller extensions you can get for it. The fact that it needs it at all is kinda stupid, though.

Loved Wendy's for a long time. Not one around here, though. They also changed their burgers and buns somewhat. A&W is pretty good. I've long since sworn off McDonald's after working there so long.

I'd love to get the NES and SNES Minis for my kids. Apparently it's easy to hack in as many games as you want. I'd also love to have those controllers which can plug into a standard Wii remote and be used on the Wii/Wii U.

They just recently recorded a bunch of dialogue from the voice actors that were promised and interviewed for the podcast before the project started within the past couple months. It's def happening.

Scott was involved in writing the entire plot and the beginnings of the actual game at the very least. That's what Chris Pope said, anyway. Then he fell on hard times health-wise. Good excuse as any.

all the games whether you liked them or not, did VERY VERY well.

Actually, that's not true. The first Walking Dead game did incredibly well. But everything after that was a constant spiral. They had a lot of praise, but the numbers don't lie. After TWD they never made those same numbers again. Probably because people discovered that it doesn't matter how you choose to play the game, the ending is exactly the same regardless.

Let's not forget the most important part about this whole debacle: my personal vindication after being banned from their forums years ago.

Hahah, I remember that... I got banned in that whole incident, too!

It was that same event that caused me to leave their forums forever. I came back once to check out how they screwed up the forum design using nested comments after the community begged them not to. That was it, though.

I believe that mod later backed Quest for Infamy on Kickstarter...

I couldn't stand that person. A bunch of us went to Double Fine's forums when their Kickstarter for what became Broken Age went crazy...and that person also came along and was modded there as well. Needless to say I didn't hang around there either.

Also, remember when Telltale was going to make King's Quest?  :D

The one good thing to happen out the entire ordeal was that they never got a hold of King's Quest. However much some of you may dislike The Odd Gentlemen's interpretation, Telltale's would have been worse.

I thought Dave left ages ago.

I'm not sorry Telltale is going under because of the games. Just the employees out of a job. That's a rough blow. The games I couldn't care less about and haven't for a long time (since BTTF and JP).

I'm not convinced of any of that. Sure, she has exec producer credits on tons of fan favourites, but wasn't she basically Spielburg's secretary and he just threw her credits?

Regardless, it's not the point. She has horribly mismanaged Star Wars and is responsible (whether directly or indirectly) for both dividing the fanbase like it's never been divided before and for the first Star Wars flop in history. And it was a monumental flop. She is not right for Star Wars. Whether she made mistakes, was malicious to fans, or just doesn't understand Star Wars, she's not right for the job. I don't care what movies she's worked on. When I first heard she was taking over LucasFilm I didn't have any reason to be against it. I was like "Ok, let's see what she brings to the table! I'm just glad George is gone!". Now her actions speak for themselves as far as I'm concerned.

It was nothing compared to how they handled Enterprise when they first started it. (T'Pol)
