With this being an adventure/rpg style game, you knew you could die. I am curious to hear how many ways you have found to do it! I can think of at least 6....
-
I found two so far:
- Getting killed by the beast
- Trying to release the smiths horse when he's looking
I guess you also can get to drunk in the pub? Haven't had time to try it yet though

The way some of the guys on the team can drink, I would think that it would be impossible to die drinking...maybe throw up a little bit, but not die!

I had the unfortunate pleasure of getting the Blacksmith death without saving. Save Early. Save Often.
-
Which blacksmith death? ;)
-
OH MY! brb.
-
I will say that there is one death in the demo that I'd be surprised if anyone accomplishes.
I'll just say it's unique, and a first for adventure games.

Are you referring to that thing you have to do a certain number of times? ;)
-
I think you found it Lambo. I'm not surprised you did though. It seems right up your alley! ;)
-
with these two tips I figured it out. I think that's even more sad.

You care to give some more hints? You got me all curious now. :)

Well, the Rolling Stone's song "Can't you Hear Me Knocking" is a clue. It's a pretty forceful song.

I think I got that one. Though simply knocking did get me to some off-limits areas but didn't seem to get me killed. For that I needed to take a somewhat more brutal stance -- but that one didn't require more than one try.
It seems I'm still missing out on a death that require something to be done repeatedly, right?
-
Yep. You'll be relieved when you find it. It's a fight to search it out, but when you do - it's worth it.

Okay... What I've deduced so far from the hints and from the Rolling Stones song (which mentions knocking on doors and windows) is that it might have something to do with knocking, or more probably the Fight icon, and also an alley. And it requires something to be done repeatedly.
Neither using the Hand nor Fight icon on all the doors and windows repeatedly grants me any new deaths (except that one which doesn't require repetition). The Shops screen has an alley, and past it is the Pub. Or possibly the stone portal on the Inn screen could pass as an alley... So that possibly narrows it down to three screens.
Does it require a particular time of day?
-
Oh yeah, you can only do it at night. In the forest.

Haha, brilliant! ;D
Though I think the Rolling Stones song were a hint for the other easter egg death right? And to anyone out there still trying to figure this one out, you should disregard my entire previous speculation post -- in hindsight, it seems I was a bit starved for clues, to the extent that I interpreted the phrasing "right up your alley" as a probable tongue-in-cheek hint.
-
Heh. Yes, "Can You Hear Me Knocking" was for the other Egg. Weren't you relieved to find this last one??
