Quest for Infamy / Obduction Kickstarter "Reward"
« on: May 17, 2017, 06:35:27 PM »
For those who weren't happy with the QFI rewards, here's proof that it could always be worse. Cyan promised an Obduction box "exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign". This is what backers are receiving.

I used to have a lot more respect for Cyan than I do right now. I'm glad I never had the opportunity to back. The retail copy is better than this pathetic embarrassing garbage. I'm not sure how they slept at night after throwing these in their fans' hands.

Banter and Chit-Chat! / Massive Interplay GOG Sale
« on: September 26, 2016, 10:38:31 AM »
Anyone who's a fan of Interplay games, jump on GOG and get their "Back To School" sale. You can get the entire lot for $30 down from $300. Apparently Interplay is selling all its assets so these probably won't be around anymore at least not for quite a long time possibly. Highly recommend you pick it up. And since it's GOG you don't need anything like Steam to play it. Just download and go! Yours forever.

Classics like Star Trek 25th Anniversary, Judgment Rites, Starfleet Academy, Freespace, Toonstruck, Redneck Rampage, Jagged Alliance, Earthworm Jim, MDK, Kingpin, and tons more.

Banter and Chit-Chat! / Today marks a momentous occassion...
« on: September 10, 2016, 06:29:06 PM »
Today I finished composing the last theme for the Himalaya Studios game Mage's Initiation, which is going into beta testing on Monday! I've still got some work to do with preparing the soundtrack CD, but I'm so happy the composing is all finished! It's nice to have a full game soundtrack under my belt, and commercial to boot! I say first complete soundtrack because for SQ2VGA I was only one of 3 very talented composers and for KQ3Redux Tom Lewandowski (composer of KQ2+, QFG2VGA, and Al Emmo) contributed a handful of themes so I can't call those mine. But this time I can! I'm very happy with the work I've done and I can't wait until you all get to play and hear it. Any $70+ backers here who are going to beta test on Monday?

Banter and Chit-Chat! / Hollywood Sci-Fi Museum

So, yeah. Back this because this needs to happen. It's the same group that saved the Enterprise D bridge a while back. They have big plans....plans too awesome to fail.

Banter and Chit-Chat! / My Debut Single Release - Uncontrolled Reentry
« on: November 21, 2013, 07:35:28 PM »
Hey, guys! I'm excited to announce my first step on my own into the music industry (besides the game work I've done) with my first song entitled "Uncontrolled Reentry"!

It's a 9-minute instrumental with elements of electronic, rock, progressive, and probably more reflecting my personal journey through life, how unpredictable it's been, and how I'm positive and excited about where the future will take me. All that fancy wording aside, it's basically just finally my own project with my own ideas and outlook on music that I've been wanting to get out there for years. It's inspired by artists like Mike Oldfield, Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, and even bands like Dream Theatre and Pagan's Mind. It's available from my website BrandonBlume.com, my Facebook Page and my Bandcamp music store and also available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, CD Baby, and eventually more.

I'm releasing this single preemptively to support a forthcoming full-length album I'm thinking of calling "Peaks and Valleys". I'll be representing a somewhat wider variety of styles in the full album in various ways, but mostly by combining my favourite sounds into one style, similar to how I've done that in this single.

You can stream Uncontrolled Reentry from my Bandcamp music store or from my SoundCloud. If you like what you hear and want to hear more please consider throwing me a dollar and supporting me and my project!

I hope you enjoy it! And if you do please spread the word and mention it to your friends. :)
