Banter and Chit-Chat! / Could cell phones be a culprit?
« on: February 06, 2019, 11:00:38 AM »
Cell phones can and have exploded due to faulty batteries. Stored in baggage in the cargo hold, could they be the culprit in some airline tragedy's? Maybe cell phones should be banned from carry on and stored baggage! Especially in a passenger's pocket or purse!

Police Quests are about the only ones I couldn't really get into.

I remember, when playing Conquest Of Camelot, it could easily fail from cache overflow. After finally completing it, I sent a save file to Ken and his significant other, to show I had actually completed the game and the fact that my eyes were square (from staring at the monitor countless hours) and rather crusty. They replied with an apology and hoped my eyes would soon return to normal. hahaha!

Borg... huh! A race that consumes, assimilates, depletes all resources, then moves on through the universe, repeat, repeat, repeat, never ending. Could this actually be a discription of the human race?

Oh, he**... you guys are spring chickens. I hit 75 this past Dec, 2017 and my life is chocked full of what ifs, but I guess I'm right where I'm supposed to be. For instance, in high school ran against a guy and beat him in the 100. Years later he was an Olympian. Had a chance to marry into money and declined. Was offered $90 a week to go to school for IBM, nope! After two weeks in basic training at Ft. Knox was offered a trip to OCS, turned it down. Etc, Etc. What if?

I've been mulling over about a couple of things:
Remember the old CCD technology (charged coupled device) used in video cameras? It collected info and put it on tape (vhs, etc.) Why in heck can't this be applied to a printer, thereby eliminating ink and toner? The 8.5/11 sheets would actually be the same type of tape except in sheets. DUH... am I the only one to think of this?

Secondly, what about a container of monitor paint, whereby you just literally use a brush or sprayer to paint a square area on virtually any surface, wait for it to dry, attach a cable to it and instantly have your own personalized monitor.

I recently purchased a monitor that's only 1/4 inch thick. 22 inch 1920/1080 HDMI and it puts out no heat!

I've watched all syndicated series and best liked the one with Scott Bakula. Also watched all S.T. feature length movies. My favorite is where Kirk and crew discover Voyager.

I did it the difficult way, to get codes of found items, I equipped them and saved the game. opened the default.usr file with hex and at the bottom is equipped item codes and what armor worn. With 3 or 4 items at a time, it took awhile for 100+ items. COTT doesn't support Alt+Tab so cheat engine can't be used. At least I couldn't use it. By now I think all codes have been found, that is items outside of chests and corpses. Too bad COTT saves aren't hexable like Dungeon Lords and Infamous games.

tnx

It seems that the only site that's actively discussing TW2 Call of The Tenebrae is on s***m, which I do not like. I'm actually registered there but cannot post because my email has to be verified. According to their method, it's not possible because I don't see the option they are talking about. I'm sure that I'm the only person that has created a sinfully explicit written walkthrough for COTT and it is posted on g*****qs. What puzzles me is why someone has yet to extract all item codes for the game and posted them. Does it require such a tremendous amount of knowledge?

Adramalech's Scourge is the most powerful weapon in COTT, but it's only available after you kill the final boss. Sulejmans Masterpiece is the second most powerful weapon, but all its stats are at least 200 points less than the Scourge ones. I can't seem to be able to check into any site to ask someone to do an item code dump, which would be quite a large file. I would dearly love to have the item code for Adramelech's Scourge. Thanks yall!
