"walking" problem (gog version with patch 1.1.1 gog-5)

I have just purchased your game on GOG and I'm having trouble when I try to move around (explore).
West, East and North directions are working but South is causing problems. When I want to go South I have to click in the (almost) left bottom corner - clicking in the middle of the bottom edge (where the path is drawn) doesn't do anything. Because of that in the location with fountain or the other one with pub I cannot go south at all.
Is there something I am missing here?

Yes, sometimes when the hotspots are on, it causes an Error; the game thinks you're clicking on the text of the hotspot and not the screen under it.  Turn the hotspots off and then try again.

hey bt kinda off topic but some in steam threads are still confused about the inventory bug
where it wont close

thought that was fixed, i kinda pointed them towards this forum,

so far I cant replicate it on demand as I once could, but it does still happen

as for hotspots, yea turning that on caused major issues for me, hence why i only used it when testing

tis how i found the secret in the library .. muhahaha
