Brigand Path

I'm already stuck.  I took the Brigand path and I am told I need the teeth of the beast.  I killed the beast, took its head, attempt to cut out its teeth with my Great Sword and I'm told, "You can't do that."  What exactly am I supposed to do?  I tried other things like getting the teeth with the saw, and the hammer but it I get the standard insults from doing something unintended by the developers.

Somehow, I think I wasn't supposed to get the Great Sword yet.  Prospero didn't have the "buy" option but clicking the money bag on him does the trick (this game has more than its fair share of glitches) but is there a way around this?  I spent hours building up full skills before this point and I don't want to lose that.

thats odd..

dont worry about stats none will go away. that only happens on day 1 in the forever loop

just use your sword on the skull you should get the teeth,
if not im unaware of that bug and issue, most didnt know to melt them down but as for getting them out, never saw that bug!

as for prospero and that bag glitch haha yea.. that one I found long ago, was supposed to be mended in new patch along with a bunch of other stuffs

im unsure if the upgraded sword works or not (it SHOULD)

Is there a new patch that I'm supposed to get through Gog (where I bought the game). 

When you mention glitches, I'm afraid that I've found far too many of them.  It's a fun game and all but it's so tempered by the glitches.  I've skipped so many things by accident so I'm usually lost on the plot.  I'm capable of doing things before I need to and I've often found myself in rooms that I'm not supposed to.  It's bugging me big time.

what version do you have from gog?

I got mine on gog and steam so

also what bugs?
I mean there are a myriad left, its a pretty large game considering.
and we did test it on fan end as well as we could
with the feedback the newest patch was due out once klytos fixed stuffs
but im sure real life and keeping iqs going is taking priority

yea you can go into the mansion anytime no matter what path you pick
get stuck on the climbing vines etc
its a headache some of those bugs.

but nothing game BREAKING i had loads of fun with it

hit back some of the stuff youre seein!

According to GOG.com it's version 1.1.1 released on 05.12.2015.

If there's a new patch out, I won't post up things I've found just yet.

nah the 1.2 isnt up
far as i know

you can search these forums for updates on this
loads was to be fixed but so far ive not seen the new patch pushed in any form

On Humble Bundle, their latest version of QFI is version 1.2 (uploaded Nov 24, 2015).

If you send Blackthorne (one of the two IQ founders) a Private Message on this site and explain your situation, he will likely set you up with the latest version if your DL site doesn't have it or simply hasn't bothered to upload to the most recent version.  IIRC, Steam was REALLY bad about not updating QFI on its site...

Blackthorne (Steve) helps out anyone he can -- he's really cool like that.

so 1.2 came out

again its not out on steam or gog (minus testing)
im confused!

woah!
i knew there were to many bugs he was findin!

if gog didnt i doubt steam did.

The 1.2 version on Humble doesn't have any major differences between the 1.1.1 on GoG, other than some internal code with achievements being changed.  It's all code based, and nothing anyone'd ever notice in game play.

We're working on a full v2.0, but as we've said - our time is limited these days.  We only have part-time to work on our games, and we've been concentrating on finishing up Roehm to Ruin.  v2.0 comes after that and Fortress of Fire after that.

Being able to buy the great sword is a glitch that comes from stat grinding on day one, a feature we've removed in v2.0.  If you don't have your old sword, you're basically SOL because the game is coded to use the sword you're supposed to have, the basic sword.

Yeah, v2.0 Shawn and I are still working on, we just don't have the time like we used to... but we will get it wrapped up.  Some bug fixes, glitch/loophole closes, etc.  Graphical and interface work, etc.  A general update and clean up on a three year old game, heh.

Maybe someday we'll get to do QFI2.  We have the outline and story...

(did you all ever have outlines for the cards n calendars ?) just curious
I know they weren't made(produced hard copies) but, did you do a pdf or some mock thing for both art wise?
