I thought I'd start a thread about some aha! moments in the game people might have had after logging in a few games and classes in.

Here's one I had recently found out: there are three ways of getting the family crest piece from the gnoll!

Pipe + Sir Davos blend and using the scare spell if you are a sorcerer

have been discussed extensively in the forum and described the walkthrough, however,

if you use the hand icon twice (the first time you get a warning) will also yield a good outcome!)

im confused,
i believe even POS made a pdf walkthrough saying u can scare the gnoll
and I sure as heck said you can do it not once but twice, once early on for 500 bly
then later for the seal

as for the pipe thats how most people other than sorc  get the piece .. period..
not sure what odd news this is!lol

what do you mean by the hand icon mate? you mean on the gnoll?

hey Kaldire,

yeah, I meant using the hand icon twice.  The pipe & wacky tabacky is the obvious solution for all classes, so is the scare spell for the sorcerer. 

I can't remember the exact wording of the message you get the first time you use the hand, but it went something like "I don't know if that action is something to really want to do, but hey that's the beauty of this game".  The gnoll's response is pretty surprising as well.

yeah, the head chopping happens with the sword.  I think I tried that on my second game, and based on the resultant death, never bothered to try the hand until recently.

My character kept standing there till finally Gnoll said "fine, you can have whatever you want, just leave me alone" Roehm goes to get it and really does, lose his head.

Yeah, actually, it's ridiculous how many characters I voiced.  Mostly minor ones.  I didn't credit myself, though, cause my name is already on the damn project a few times!

Klytos voices Mills, the banker, too - and the likeness is based on him!  Except he's not really an Albino.
